Sports Performance & Conditioning
The Sports Performance Team at the UF&Shands Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Institute has initiated a new Sports Performance and Conditioning monthly membership. The membership will be available to those athletes 12 years old and older. The membership program will have a calendar listing the workouts for each training session.
The training program will focus on:
- Strength
- Core Stability
- Power
- Dynamic Flexibility
- Balance
- Functional Movement Screen
- Speed & Agility
- ACL Injury Prevention
- Explosiveness
- Form Running
- Plyometrics
- Endurance
The cost for the monthly membership is $75/month or $250 for the months of June/July/August which also includes pre/post summer performance testing! Classes will run Monday-Friday in both the morning and afternoon. An appointment must be made for each training session you plan to attend.
The Sports Performance and Conditioning program will be supervised by Certified Athletic Trainers, Master’s level Exercise Physiologists and SPARQ Certified Trainers.
