Get Fit For Sport - Total Conditioning Program
Summer Camps in session: June 16th - August 8th, 2008
Sports help children develop physical skills, get exercise and improve self-esteem. At the same time it's important that young athletes be provided all the encouragement and tools to perform at their best.
Programs designed to evaluate and develop athletes' conditioning and performance play a vital role in reducing the risks of injuries while improving performances of athletes. This is even more important as young athletes' bodies continually change.
Our specialists have spent 25 years on athletic fields and courts with high school and collegiate athletes preparing for athletic contests and caring for athletes' injuries.
Our medically based program includes activities and exercises designed to improve performance while reducing the risks of injury.
The program focuses on six primary areas of athletic importance:
Strength
Agility
Core stability
Speed
Balance
Flexibility
Each athlete undergoes a pre- and post- fitness evaluations that measures their:
Functional movement
Strength imbalances
Flexibility
Performance skills
Explosiveness (vertical jump)
Power (standing long jump)
Speed (40-yard dash)
Agility (20-yard shuttle run)
These reports as well as a video analyses of the Functional Movement screen are part of the fitness evaluation.
PERSONAL TRAINING:
Set up training according to your schedule. This system encourages you to train individually or in groups on the days and times that best fit your schedule and at a location that is most convenient for you.
For those athletes looking to improve their SPARQ rating, our team is SPARQ certified and can help you improve your SPARQ score.
Athletes 7-9 years old
$50/hour (Maximum two athletes)
Athletes over 10 years old
$60/hour (One athlete)
$70/hour (Two athletes)
$90/hour (Three athletes)
Group Training
$325 (4-6 athletes/12 sessions)
$425 (4-6 athletes/18 sessions)
