The Running Performance Program
The Running Performance Biomechanical analysis was developed from a national survey of High School to Elite Coaches and Athletes to provide you the runner with usable, valuable, comprehensive feedback. The program addresses running form mechanics that effect efficiency and injury susceptibility. The program is here to provide the athlete with tools to reach peak performance while minimizing injury and increasing understanding and awareness.
What it can do for you
As a Coach: You will receive comprehensive measurements of your athlete’s mechanical performance. All of the cues you seek while observing your athlete in the field will be digitally captured in 3D giving you an eagle’s eye view of their performance allowing you to see and evaluate their performance in a truly new way. Your report will be specialized to match what coaches from around the country are looking for in biomechanics.
As an Athlete: You will receive a custom report that will allow you to see your performance and efficiency and compare it to ideal performance norms. The program will allow you to get a view of your performance far beyond conventional video taping. Your report will be specialized to your event area, sprints, distance, or jumps, and will include answers to evaluations that keen eyed coaches around the country look for when evaluating running form.
VO2max TESTING: An excellent first evaluation, this test gives a good picture of overall fitness level and performance potential. Furthermore, from this test we can provide heart rates and power values that correlate to the athlete's ventilatory threshold (a good estimate of lactate threshold). From this value, we can establish training zones and intensities for the athlete.

LACTATE TESTING: The blood lactate profile is the most important predictor of endurance performance potential in steady-state events (e.g. time trials in cycling, triathlons and running races, especially marathons). The lactate profile test is the gold standard used by elite endurance athletes to determine optimal training intensities and is the most effective way to track the progress of training. After determining a lactate profile, we will provide training zones based on both heart rate, pace and wattage (if available).

ENDURANCE SPORT COACHING: Our Endurance Coaching programs are based on proven methods using heart rate, pace and wattage if available. There are many attributes that must be developed to reach your potential as an athlete. We work on every aspect and concentrate on making you the most efficient and strongest athlete you can be. We help you set achievable short and long terms goals in order to keep you focused and motivated while allowing us to set out an appropriate training plan.
INITIAL VISIT $250 (LT Test and interpretation, season and race goal and target setting, training program)
BASIC $150/month (Detailed training program, one monthly contact)
EXTENDED $300/month (Detailed training program, weekly contact)
BIOMECHANICAL ANALYSIS: Our biomechanical video analysis begins with collection of video from your specialized sport, such as running gait (treadmill or track), swimming stroke or cycling pedaling mechanics. Technique and key moments are selected and analyzed using our computer software. After analyzing the video we give suggestions for improvement in your specialized sport.

METABOLIC RATE DETERMINATION: Metabolic rate testing is crucial for an athlete attempting to achieve a higher power: weight ratio, an individual who wants to lose fat or gain muscle, or someone who is just curious whether they have a "high or low" metabolism. Your resting metabolic rate is related to your lean body mass and is the number of calories your body burns everyday at rest. The simple 15 minute assessment includes a complete follow-up report that tells you exactly how to use your metabolic rate determination to achieve your weight goals as quickly as possible.
Metabolic Rate Test $50, $40 for follow-up tests.

PERSONAL TRAINING: Our staff offers personal training, coaching, and a network of resources dedicated to helping people achieve their health, fitness, and athletic goals. Mondays & Wednesdays 6-7pm, $10/class or $100 for 12 sessions
Who is this for: Anyone, the Running Performance Program is not specific to elite and high level athletes and coaches. Our reports were developed so that every level of athlete can understand what the measurements mean and how they are useful. The Running Performance Program is here to increase performance of course but also to increase enjoyment of running by minimizing injuries and detrimental behaviors. Whether you are a high school beginner hoping to make the next step or the weekend warrior staying in shape the Running Performance Program has something for you.
